Stacy Armendariz
2nd Grade Teacher
I have been in education for 8 wonderful years, starting my journey as a preschool aide for 7 years, where I discovered my passion for working with young learners. This year, I am thrilled to embark on my first year as a 2nd-grade teacher, a role that allows me to blend my experience with new opportunities to inspire and support my students. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Education from the University of California, Riverside. Later, I pursued a Master’s degree in Education and received my teaching credential from the University of Redlands, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. My approach to teaching is rooted in building connections, fostering curiosity, and encouraging every child to reach their full potential. With every step of my journey, I’ve learned how much I enjoy creating a positive, engaging learning environment for my students.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, watching movies, and traveling to explore new places and cultures. Whether it's a cozy movie night or an exciting adventure to a new destination, I love creating memories and experiencing the world through different lenses.
One of the things I admire most about my students is their willingness to learn, their boundless curiosity, and the kindness they show toward one another. My goal is to nurture these qualities, helping them grow into confident, compassionate learners who embrace challenges and support each other. I’m also incredibly grateful to work alongside amazing teachers who demonstrate exceptional teamwork and a shared commitment to helping every student succeed. Together, we create a collaborative environment where the focus is always on what’s best for the students. Our school is a special place where students are at the heart of everything we do. It’s inspiring to be part of a community that values education as much as I do.
