Emma Trujillo

4th Grade Teacher

Hello, my name is Emma Trujillo, and my journey in education has been amazing. I graduated from California State University, Bakersfield, with a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies, which helped me discover my passion for teaching. I then went on to earn my Master's in Education from the University of Redlands. I started my teaching career with preschool and pre-kindergarten students, and this year is my first year teaching fourth grade. I'm excited to help my students grow and challenge them to think critically.

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family and exploring the outdoors. I enjoy traveling and hiking, as it gives me a chance to relax and connect with nature. I’m also passionate about working on myself, which is why I make time to hike, work out, and do Pilates. These activities help me stay physically and mentally strong, so I can bring my best self to everything I do.

RJA has been a huge source of inspiration for me. The supportive environment and focus on student success motivate me to become a better teacher every day. I’m lucky to work with passionate colleagues and a leadership team that encourages growth. RJA’s commitment to creating a positive and inclusive space for students reminds me of the impact I can have. It keeps me excited about teaching and helps me keep improving.
