Martha Tamayo Bio

When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling. Every year my family and I travel. I am very fortunate to have traveled to many different parts of Mexico and have been able to enjoy its beaches, religious and cultural sites. I have also traveled to Barcelona, Spain and Paris, France, where I was able to visit the Sagrada Familia, Paris Disneyland, and the Louvre museum.  The best part is always planning for the next adventure.

As a kindergarten teacher, I am very lucky to have colleagues who are amazing and supportive, who make me a better teacher every day. What I admire most about my students is the academic growth that they show within one school year; it's amazing to see. I know that as a Kindergarten teacher, I lay the foundation for a lifelong journey of learning and instill curiosity for the love of learning. My goal is to help my students acquire the skills necessary to be successful and provide parents the tools necessary to be a part of their child's academic journey.
