Jeniffer Herrera Hernandez

This year is my third year as a kindergarten teacher at IEmpire Academy. I gained a glimpse of perspective and appreciation of what it meant to be a teacher during my time as a substitute and after-school teacher.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Cal State University of San Bernardino, and my Master of Education from the University of Redlands. 

 

I enjoy playing board games at home with my friends and family. I've been told I am pretty competitive. I can sit at home and watch movies or tv all day if time and chores permit me to. It helps me refuel and be ready for what the rest of the week has in store for me. 

 

My goal is to continue to create a safe and encouraging environment for students to want to come and learn. I look forward to seeing all the great progress my students will make and continue to make in the years to come.
