Christina Becerra-Luna

Substitute Teacher

I have been an educator for 2 years, dedicated to inspiring and guiding young learners to achieve their full potential. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and Spanish, as well as a Master’s in Education, all from the University of Redlands. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in teaching diverse learners and developing engaging, inclusive lessons. Over the years, I have honed my skills in creating meaningful educational experiences, and I’m always seeking new ways to innovate and support student growth.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy visiting theme parks and traveling to new destinations. These hobbies allow me to unwind, explore creativity, and gain fresh perspectives that often inspire my teaching. I love immersing myself in different cultures and experiences, which fuels my passion for creating a classroom environment that celebrates diversity and curiosity.

I am continually inspired by the curiosity and perseverance my students demonstrate each day, as well as the supportive and collaborative spirit of my colleagues and the REAL Journey Academy community. The school’s mission to prepare students for lifelong success aligns perfectly with my goal of empowering each child to become a confident, compassionate, and capable learner. Through personalized instruction and a nurturing classroom environment, I strive to contribute to the RJA mission and help my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
