Blanca Salazar-Soto
I’ve been working for Real Journey Academies for over two years as a Food Server/Handler. Although I was out of work to assist my grandkids, I was able to get back into the workforce. I obtained the San Bernardino County Food Handler's training Certification from the State and continued to learn “On the Job” new responsibilities. I have worked in two schools since then and have met great employees/peers, and it makes me feel very good in understanding the team. We have faced challenges and we have successfully resolved them, so that children are not left without a meal.
My previous experience working for the San Bernardino City Unified School District for seventeen years has given me great joy and pleasure working with children, and now I can share this with this great organization, REAL Journey Academies.
I was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. I attended the Instituto Polytecnico Nacional in Mexico City, and I married and relocated to the United States. I love to travel with family, listen to music, dance, and sit at the table with my family and friends while sipping coffee or tea.
In addition, I look forward to the New Year to come and commit to working for the success of this organization.
