Valerie Stager Bio

4th Grade Teacher

I graduated from high school in Rancho Cucamonga in 2016, marking the beginning of my educational journey. After high school, I attended Cal State San Bernardino, where I earned my degree in Liberal Studies. Eager to further my education and passion for teaching, I pursued a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Redlands. Following my graduate studies, I spent a year as a resident teacher at IEmpire Academy, where I taught 5th grade. This experience was incredibly rewarding, as I had the privilege of watching my students grow and develop their skills, both academically and personally.
Outside of the classroom, I love to spend my free time cooking and baking, which allows me to unwind and explore my creativity. I also recently welcomed a new puppy into my life, and I enjoy taking her on walks and playing fetch with her. Traveling during my summer breaks is another passion of mine, as it allows me to experience new cultures and recharge for the upcoming school year.
One of the things I cherish most about teaching is seeing the determination in my students. Their constant enthusiasm to show up each day and work hard to become brighter is inspiring. My goal is to reach as many students as possible, helping them realize their full potential and fostering a love for learning. Every day I strive to give my best in the classroom, knowing that the effort I put in can make a lasting impact on their lives.
